If you're not a regular upstate South Carolina hunter, then you're probably not aware of the SCDNR regulation changes for the 2014 - 2015 deer hunting season.  The SCDNR published statistics following the 2013 season, which shows our club is located in a 45 deer per square mile area.

There are six game zones in South Carolina. Of those, zones 1 & 2  were most affected by the harvest reductions for this hunt season.  What bothers me about this is the other four zones have unlimited quotas for harvesting whitetail deer.  Our quotas have been reduced by 50% which is confusing to say the least.
