Club Description
The membership of The Buck and Beard Hunting Club is comprised of a group of men and their families, who collectively represent many years of hunting in very diverse clubs across the state. Through these vast experiences, it was almost unbelievable to hear the frustrations that so many of us had in common and likewise, how compassionate and agreeable we were in the decision to establish The Buck and Beard Hunting Club, where we have adopted a simple, but powerful mission statement - WHERE WE "AIM" TO RESPECT THE SPORT, THE RESOURCE, AND EACH OTHER! Our membership can expect, in all our undertakings, SAFETY to be at the top of our list. In all we do, before we act, we take every humanly conceivable risk out of the picture and through true teamwork, we get the job done. We are a united group that takes great pride in our families and all participation they may have in our activities. There is nothing quite like witnessing a youngster harvesting that first deer, turkey or whatever the case may be. It is a milestone to be remembered for a lifetime and to be able to share in that moment brings joy to each of us. Currently, we have 3 property tracts in Saluda and Edgefield Counties, consisting of over 1500 acres, and we are continually looking for new acquisition opportunities. With the economy being what it is, we strive to keep our dues down as low as possible, currently $600.00. We do not go out and solicit as many members as we can find. We endeavor to maintain a fair member to acre balance where everyone has the same opportunities at a reasonable cost
